gifts for bookworms | 2016
Most of the time, the bookworms in your life are happy with books, books, and more books. But if you're looking for a little something special for the bibliophile in your life, check out this list of great gifts for bookworms.
book lovers' soy candles from frostbeard - $6.75 to $18.00
This small business can be seen all over the interwebs with their deliciously scented (and literary-inspired) candles. Celebrate at Gatsby's Mansion, battle your way to Winterfell, or get lost on your way to the Headmaster's Office. Can't decide? Try a sample pack or two. They also offer "tarts" for wax warmers.
velvet plush blanket - $50 for a full/queen
I'm a sucker for a fuzzy blanket. I first encountered these while getting a massage...I went on a mad hunt trying to find one similar and, lo and behold, JC Penney offers them on the cheap (you can also almost always find a coupon, too!). They're washable, don't pill, and are the warmest blankets ever. I had to order several more, so the entire house doesn't fight over who gets the special blanket (animals included).
book shirts by modcloth - $29.99
Modcloth is my absolute favorite online clothing store. Hands down. Not only do they offer a wide variety of nicely made, affordable clothing, they also appeal to my inner "weirdo." They offer so many vintage styles, quirky accessories, and nerdy apparel. I love their nods to bookworms, especially these two shirts: one paying homage to the wonderful Hermione Granger and the other reminding you to return your library book.
book lover's journal - $12.50
Go old school! Keeping track of your reading list is easy with this beautiful journal. Not only does it allow you to list out your books, you can record the WWWWW&H (who, what, when, where, why, & how) of your reading experience, as well as jotting down your review notes.
kindle paperwhite - $119.99
By far, this is one of the best options for reading available. Amazon's Kindle series allows readers to download TONS of books without having to tote around bulky paperbacks and heavy hardcovers when you travel. Though I miss the feel of a real book, my Kindle is a must-have when it comes to travel reading.
audible subscription - $14.95 to $22.95 per month
I love, love, LOVE Audible! The audiobooks make it so much easier for me to "read" more books on a daily basis. The base plan offers one credit each month, redeemable for any book, any price. The next level option gives users two credits each month. Roll them over, use them toward gifts for other Audible users, or download until your heart is content.
sassy book mugs - $15
Like I was going to pass up the opportunity for some shameless self-promotion! Check out our online store for two bookworm coffee or tea mugs. They're microwave and dishwasher safe, so you can finish a few more pages instead of worrying about scrubbing them by hand. You can go sarcastic or introvert with ease!
