Looking for a great gift for the person who prefers adventure to material goods? Check out this list of my favorite gift ideas for travelers.

scottevest women's trench - $250

I love this coat so much, I bought two (one in black and the other in rust). It's got a ton of pockets, some large enough to fit a full-size tablet and some small enough for some lip balm. You can dress it up without it getting too bulky. My only complaint is that it's pretty thin and doesn't have a hood.

try the world subscription - $29 to $39 per month

If you love food and you love to travel, this is a twofer! Each one of these boxes is themed for a specific country and is full of delicious snacks, including condiments, sweets, drink mixers, and seasoning blends. Try The World allows buyers to choose 1, 3, 6, or 12 month subscriptions.

You can also purchase individual snacks separately. My favorites include lingonberry preserves, coconut crispy rolls, double chocolate crisps, "special" mustard, gingersnaps, and the mint green tea.

bose quietcomfort 20 acoustic noise cancelling headphones - $250

I can't even begin to tell you how much I love these headphones. They have saved my ass during our travels so many times. Even without them being turned on, they eliminate noise from commuters on the phone and screaming babies. The best part is that you can drown out your overly talkative seat mates on long flights, too.

corksicle canteen - $19.95 to $49.95

Instead of purchasing water bottles during your travel, these canteens are absolutely amazing. They keep cold drinks cold for well over 24 hours and drinks hot for around 12 hours. They're come in several different sizes (9, 16, 25, and 60 ounces).

travelpro luggage - various

I love, love, LOVE their carryon luggage. I have the Maxlite 4 and the Crew 10 Deluxe Tote. They are light and really spacious. They're also relatively inexpensive, too. If you're big on traveling, it's time to invest in some great luggage.

travel tags - $8

Brighten up your luggage with these super fun travel tags. They make great stocking stuffers.

mayko leather tote - $270

This is my favorite tote. I use it daily as a computer bag, but it's perfect for travel. Definitely splurge on adding the zipper. This bag is perfect, because it's big enough to store little things on shopping trips but classy enough to use any time.
